Section Env-Wt 605.01 - Avoidance and Minimization Requirements in Coastal Areas

In addition to the avoidance and minimization requirements in Env-Wt 307, Env-Wt 311.07, Env-Wt 313, and Env-Wt 603.04, projects in coastal areas shall:
(a) Use results of the CFA required by Env-Wt 603.04 to:
(1)
Minimize adverse impacts to finfish, shellfish, crustacea, and
wildlife;
(2) Minimize disturbances
to groundwater and surface water flow;
(3) Avoid impacts that could adversely affect
fish habitat, wildlife habitat, or both; and
(4) Avoid impacts that might cause erosion to
shoreline properties;
(b) Not impair the navigation, recreation, or commerce of the general public; and
(c) Minimize alterations in prevailing currents.
