Section Env-Wt 513.21 - Design and Construction Requirements for Watercraft Lifts

In addition to meeting the applicable design and construction requirements of Env-Wt 300, a watercraft lift shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the following:
(a) Subject to (c), below, the lift shall be installed:
(1) In an existing legal boat
slip; or
(2) If a personal
watercraft lift, immediately adjacent to an existing legal docking
structure.
(b) Any seasonal lift shall be installed, maintained, and removed in accordance with Env-Wt 513.22(b); and
(c) If a lift is the only structure on the frontage, it shall:
(1) Be installed along
the shoreline of the subject property; and
(2) Meet all requirements for a seasonal
docking structure specified in
Env-Wt
513.22(b).
