(a) A public water system ownerthat uses a surface water source and does not provide filtration treatment shall provide the disinfection treatment specified in Env-Ws 380.10, unless the department determines that filtration is required pursuant to Env-Ws 380.05.

(b) A public water system that uses a ground water source under the direct influence of surface water and does not provide filtration treatment shall provide disinfection treatment specified in Env-Ws 380.10 unless the departmenthas determined that filtration is required pursuant to Env-Ws 380.05.

(c) A system that uses a surface water source that provides filtration treatment shall provide the disinfection treatment specified inEnv-Ws 380.11.

(d) A system that uses a groundwater source under the direct influence of surface water and provides filtration treatment shall provide disinfection treatment as specified in Env-Ws 380.11.
