(a) The required minimum total source capacity for community water systems and those NTNC water systems whose reliability is directly important to public health as specified in Env-Ws 372.02(g) shall be not less than 2 times the design flow for the water system based on a 24-hour day.

(b) For small community water systems and NTNC water systems whose reliability is directly important to public health as specified in Env-Ws 372.02(g) that are required to have 2 or more wells, the minimum total permitted production volume with the largest source out of service shall be equal to or greater than 50% of the system's design flow.

(c) For all types of water systems, the minimum total permitted production volume shall not be less than the design flow for the water system.
