"Analytical gross alpha" means total gross alpha activity as measured by the EPA approved methodologies, as specified in 40 CFR 141.25, and includes, but is not limited to, alpha particles from radium-226, uranium, thorium, and polonium. Radon is not included in analytical gross alpha activity.
