(a) All amateur mixed martial arts competitions shall be conducted in compliance with Box 701 with the following amendments:
(1) Fighters
shall wear shin pads and instep pads of good quality acceptable to the
commission;
(2) Elbow strikes shall
be prohibited;
(3) Knee strikes to
an opponent's head shall be prohibited; and
(4) All fights shall be 3 rounds of 3 minutes
each, with a one minute rest period in between rounds.
