(a) All yaks entering the state of New Hampshire shall have permanent identification of each animal with a metal ear tag, legible tattoo or microchip, providing a microchip reader is available at the point of destination.

(b) Yaks shall also:

(1) Be from a brucellosis classified-free herd;

(2) Be over 6 months of age, have been tested negative for brucellosis within 30 days of shipment and be from a herd tested free of brucellosis within the last year; or

(3) If under 6 months of age, be identified with either a metal eartag, legible tattoo or microchip, as progeny of a brucellosis tested dam.
