The division of plant industry is charged with apiary inspection and regulation under the immediate supervision of the state entomologist and commissioner of the New Hampshire department of agriculture, markets and food. These rules are intended to clarify the requirements, procedures, and methods that inspectors and beekeepers shall follow in dealing with infectious or contagious diseases, parasites or pests of honeybees or brood.
