Section 707.040 - Interest earned on surcharges

Each carrier shall keep account of any interest earned on surcharges collected before they are remitted to the Commission. If the interest revenue is not sufficient to reimburse the carrier for costs associated with the collection of the surcharge, the amount of the interest must be deducted in computing the reimbursement claimed.
