Section 706.161 - Limitations on shipments of express and light express

1. Shipments of express may not exceed 200 pounds per package, or an aggregate of 600 pounds per shipment from one consignor to one consignee.
2. Shipments of light express may not exceed 100 pounds in weight, 50 cubic feet in bulk and 10 feet in length per package and a weight in the aggregate of 400 pounds per shipment.
3. Express and light express do not include:
(a) Goods which are inherently dangerous to
passengers or personal property being transported in the same
vehicle;
(b) Goods which require
the use of special equipment for handling;
(c) Household goods;
(d) Goods which would harm or contaminate
other shipments of equipment;
(e)
Class A or Class B explosives; or
(f) Articles which require the use of an
armored vehicle or a guard.
