TRANSPORTATION OF HAZARDOUS MATERIAL BY RAIL
Section 705.331 - Emergency planning and response procedures

A railroad that transports hazardous materials by rail into, out of or through this State shall develop and carry out emergency planning and response procedures for handling releases of hazardous materials. These procedures must address, without limitation, the:
1. Safe handling of hazardous materials;
2. Conducting of emergency drills and exercises;
3. Specification of the resources to be provided and the actions to be taken by the railroad; and
4. Identification of:
(a) Federal, state and local emergency response agencies and other governmental entities to be notified;
(b) Contact persons in each such agency and entity; and
(c) Resources that may be provided and actions that may be taken by each such agency and entity.
