RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF CUSTOMERS OF CERTAIN ELECTRIC AND GAS UTILITIES
Section 704.336 - Basis and contents of bill for service

1. Except as otherwise provided in NAC 704.337, each bill for service issued by a utility must be based upon a reading of the meter of the customer or the applicable flat rate.
2. Each bill for service must include:
(a) Any previous
balance;
(b) The amount due for
service provided during the current billing period, with the date upon which
this amount is past due;
(c) Any
approved charge for late payment of a bill, with the date upon which that
charge begins to accrue;
(d) The
customer charge;
(e) The fuel
adjustment cost and gas adjustment cost;
(f) Any other authorized fee, charge, or
tax;
(g) Any unregulated
charge;
(h) The total of the
preceding amounts;
(i) The meter
readings for the first and last day of the billing period;
(j) The quantity of gas or electric energy
consumed;
(k) The date the meter
was read;
(l) The next date the
meter will be read;
(m) The summary
of the provisions of NAC 704.346 required by subsection 4 of that section;
and
(n) The telephone number and
address of the office of the utility where a customer may obtain information
concerning his or her bill or the service provided.
