Section 695C.185 - Benefits payable by more than one insurer to provider; restrictions

When the benefits set forth in any evidence of coverage are payable by more than one insurer to a provider, the evidence of coverage must not require the insured, or any secondary insurer who is a:
1. Group health insurer;
2. Health maintenance organization; or
3. Nonprofit corporation for hospital, medical or dental service, to pay more than the remaining deductible and coinsurance, if any, based upon the rates established by the primary insurer for its payment of that provider.
