Section 690A.080 - Refund of unearned premium; fulfillment of contract

A person is entitled to a refund of any unearned premium of $5 or more if the person's policy or contract is cancelled for any reason, other than death or any other lump-sum payment, before the scheduled date of termination. A contract is considered fulfilled if a lump-sum payment has been made and there are no unearned premiums.
