1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, "broker" has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 683A.321.
2. The term does not include a producer of insurance acting as:
(a) An intermediary
between an insurer and a client's broker, including, without limitation, a
managing general agent or wholesale broker; or
(b) A reinsurance intermediary. As used in
this paragraph, "intermediary" has the meaning ascribed to it in
NRS
681A.330.
