Chapter 670B
Section 670B.Sec. 3 - NEW

A person shall not act as a student loan servicer in this State unless, in addition to satisfying all other applicable requirements set forth in law or regulation, the following requirements are met:
1. Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to subsection 2 of NRS 670B.200 or any other provision of law, the person holds a license issued by the Commissioner pursuant to chapter 670B of NRS and any other required license or permit issued by a local governmental entity; and
2. The place of business of the student loan servicer is:
(a)
Located in the United States;
(b)
Located in an area zoned for commercial use; and
(c) Not a residence.
