REGISTRATION OF INTERPRETERS AND CAPTIONING PROVIDERS; SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Section 656A.225 - Interpreter or Communication Access Realtime Translation provider in educational setting: Report to Division

1. Each sign language interpreter or Communication Access Realtime Translation provider who provides services for a school district in this State shall report to the Division:

(a) His or her name;

(b) The name, telephone number and electronic mail address of his or her direct supervisor; and

(c) Any other information requested by the Division.

2. Each sign language interpreter or Communication Access Realtime Translation provider required to submit a report pursuant to subsection 1 shall submit the report using the electronic platform prescribed by the Division within 30 days after the date on which the sign language interpreter or Communication Access Realtime Translation provider begins serving pupils in the school district.

3. Each sign language interpreter or Communication Access Realtime Translation provider required to submit a report pursuant to subsection 1 shall report, using the electronic platform prescribed by the Division, any changes in the information required to be reported pursuant to subsection 1 within 30 days after the change occurs.
