COSMETOLOGICAL ESTABLISHMENTS AND SCHOOLS OF COSMETOLOGY: CONDITIONS AND PROCEDURES FOR PRACTICE
Section 644A.780 - Clients with inflamed or infected skin or secretions of bodily fluids

In each cosmetological establishment or school of cosmetology:

1. A licensee shall not perform any service upon a surface of the skin or scalp of a client where such skin is inflamed, infected, broken or otherwise compromised.

2. Licensees shall not perform any service on a client whose skin shows signs of secretion of any bodily fluids.
