1. A licensee or registrant shall not:

If a licensee or registrant has substantial reason to believe that a person has violated any provision of this chapter or chapter 641D of NRS, he or she shall inform the Board in writing of the violation, except that if the licensee or registrant has knowledge of the violation because of his or her professional relationship with a patient or client, he or she may report the violation only if he or she has the informed written consent of the patient or client. The provisions of this chapter do not relieve a licensee or registrant of the duty to file any report otherwise required by state or federal law or regulation.
