Section 641C.230 - Authority of Board following disciplinary action against applicant in this or another jurisdiction

If an applicant for licensure or certification holds or previously held a similar license or credential issued by this State, another state, a territory or possession of the United States, or the District of Columbia which is or was suspended, revoked or restricted, or if the applicant has otherwise been subjected to any discipline for any reason by the entity which issued the license or other credential, the Board will review and consider the specific facts and circumstances surrounding the suspension, revocation, restriction or disciplinary action, and may use this review and consideration in determining whether to issue a license or certificate to the applicant or to deny his or her application for licensure or certification.
