LICENSING, AUTHORIZATIONS AND SUPERVISION
Section 641B.126 - Licensure by endorsement

1. An applicant for licensure as a social worker, master social worker, independent social worker or clinical social worker who holds, in the District of Columbia or any state or territory of the United States, a corresponding and valid license that is in good standing to engage in the practice of social work as described in this chapter and chapter 641B of NRS and who satisfies the requirements of NRS 641B.200 and NRS 641B.220, 641B.230 or 641B.240, as applicable, may be licensed by endorsement by the Board to engage in the practice of social work as a social worker, master social worker, independent social worker or clinical social worker in this State by the Board without taking the examination prescribed by the Board.

2. An applicant for licensure by endorsement pursuant to this section must submit to the Board:

If an applicant has had a license or credential that was issued by the District of Columbia or another state or territory suspended, revoked or otherwise restricted for any reason, the Board will review and consider the specific facts and circumstances surrounding the suspension, revocation or restriction and may issue or decline to issue a license to an applicant based upon its review.
