Section 639.67059 - Exemptions for certain institutional pharmacies

The Board may, upon application and for good cause shown, waive or modify any requirement set forth in NAC 639.6705 and 639.67051 for an institutional pharmacy engaged in the practice of compounding drug products if the institutional pharmacy serves an institution that:
1. Has less than 100 beds licensed for providing acute care; and
2. Is located in a county:
(a) Whose population is
less than 100,000; or
(b) Whose
population is 100,000 or more if the hospital is designated as a rural hospital
by the Nevada Office of Rural Health within the University of Nevada School of
Medicine.
