Section 639.672 - Reference materials required to be located in or immediately available to pharmacy

Any pharmacy engaged in the practice of compounding and dispensing parenteral solutions shall have current reference materials located in or immediately available to the pharmacy. The reference materials must include information on:
1. All drugs and chemicals used in services related to parenteral therapy; and
2. The activities involved in parenteral therapy, including manufacturing, dispensing, distribution and counseling.
