Section 638.043 - Renewal of license without meeting requirements

If, upon application, the Board finds that the failure of the licensee to complete the required hours of continuing education was because of the licensee's disability, military service or absence from the United States, or because of other circumstances beyond the control of the licensee which are deemed sufficient by the Board, the licensee may have his or her license renewed without meeting the requirements for continuing education.
