Chapter 637 - Dispensing Opticians

Section 637.150 - Application for examination; training and experience required for certain applicants; reexamination; fees

1. An application for a license as a dispensing optician pursuant to NRS 637.100 must be submitted the Board in the form and manner prescribed by the Board.
2. An application submitted pursuant to subsection 1 must include, without limitation:
3. For the purposes of paragraph (b) of subsection 1 of NRS 637.100, the Board will consider an applicant to have graduated from the equivalent of an accredited high school if the applicant:

The submission of false or misleading statements, information or documents on the application filed with the Board or the failure to provide information required to be included in an application is sufficient cause for the Board to reject the application or revoke the license of a dispensing optician.
5. The Executive Director of the Board, an authorized employee of the Board or a designee of the Board may review and approve or deny applications for a license pursuant to this section and in accordance with the policies of the Board.
