Section 633.250 - Continuing education required for renewal of license

1. Each osteopathic physician applying for renewal of his or her license shall attest to the Board that he or she has attended during the preceding year at least 35 hours of continuing education courses or programs approved by the Board, which must include at least:

On or after July 1, 2018, each osteopathic physician shall, not later than 2 years after initial licensure and at least once every 4 years thereafter, attest to the Board when applying for renewal of his or her license that he or she has received the instruction on evidence-based suicide prevention and awareness required by NRS 633.471, as amended by section 2.5 of Assembly Bill No. 105, chapter 176, Statutes of Nevada 2017, at page 944.
3. As used in this section, "category 1A course" means a course of continuing medical education that is offered by a sponsor accredited to offer such a course by the American Osteopathic Association or the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education
