1. Pursuant to NRS 630.253, as amended by section 28 of Senate Bill No. 439, chapter 528, Statutes of Nevada 2023, at page 3501, a physician assistant who provides or supervises the provision of emergency medical services in a hospital or primary care shall complete at least 2 hours of training in the stigma, discrimination and unrecognized bias toward persons who have acquired or are at a high risk of acquiring human immunodeficiency virus within 2 years after beginning to provide or supervise the provision of such services or care.

2. A physician assistant is entitled to receive credit towards the continuing medical education required by subsection 1 of NAC 630.350 for each hour of continuing medical education completed pursuant to subsection 1 of this section.
