Chapter 62G - Rehabilitation of Delinquent Children
Section 62G.070 - Application to participate

1. An application to participate under NRS 62G.400 to 62G.470, inclusive, must be prepared by the appropriate county official and bear the endorsement of the district judge and the approval of the county commissioners.

2. The application must contain, but need not be limited to, the following information:

(a) The estimated number of offenders to be included in the program.

(b) The number of members of the staff to be included in the program, including the job description, the qualifications and the salary range for each position.

(c) The name and mailing address of the county official to whom checks must be mailed. If the check is to be made out to a person other than the county treasurer, the name and title of that person must be stated.

(d) A statement of assurance that the county or any of its agents will not, in the operation or administration of the approved program, refuse or deny admission to, employment in, or otherwise deny participation in the program on the grounds of race, creed, color or national origin.

(e) The location of the components of the program.

(f) The name and address of the person responsible for the administration of the program.

(g) A narrative statement describing the proposed program in detail and a proposed budget of expenditures.

(h) A statement signed by the responsible county official assuring that the money provided by the State will not be used to replace local money for existing programs for delinquent youth.
