Tower Cranes: Use
Section 618.395 - Termination of process to erect or dismantle tower crane

During the erection or dismantling of a tower crane:

1. The prime contractor for the project which requires the use of the tower crane;

2. The owner or lessee of the property on which the tower crane is located; or

3. Any other employer of any person who will be involved in the erection or dismantling of the tower crane, must terminate the erection or the dismantling of the tower crane if he or she knows or receives reliable information that a condition exists which threatens the safety of his or her employees or the general public until that condition is corrected or until the prime contractor determines that the condition is not a threat or that the threat no longer exists.
