Section 583.350 - Scope

The provisions of NAC 583.211 to 583.530, inclusive, and sections 2 to 29, inclusive provide for:
1. The mandatory inspection of the slaughter of cattle, sheep, swine, goats, equines and poultry and the preparation of carcasses, parts of carcasses, meat, meat food products of the animals, poultry and poultry food products of the animals, solely for distribution in Nevada;
2. The regulation of related industries; and
3. Cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture.
