Section 571.300 - Permit or license required for production of certain media used for diagnosis, prevention or treatment of disease

A person may not sell, use or distribute in this State a serum, vaccine, bacterin or biological product which is used as a diagnostic agent or used in the prevention or treatment of diseases of livestock unless it has been produced in accordance with a permit or license granted by:

1. The United States Department of Agriculture;

2. The Department;

3. The Agricultural Research Service; or

4. An agency authorized by the Department.
