WATER OF THE COLORADO RIVER
Original Appropriations of Water
Section 538.800 - Filing of applications regarding original appropriations

An application for an original appropriation of water held in trust for the State of Nevada by the Colorado River Commission of Nevada pursuant to subsection 1 of NRS NRS NRS 538.171, or to change the place of diversion, manner of use or place of use of water covered by the original appropriation, may be made in a letter filed with the Commission or on a form provided by the Commission. The application must be filed with the Commission in person or by mail or facsimile machine.
