1. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, unless his or her privilege is limited or revoked pursuant to law, any resident or nonresident of this State is eligible to apply in any year for an antlered moose tag. A person who obtains an antlered moose tag or a replacement tag for an antlered moose is not eligible to apply in his or her lifetime for another tag to hunt antlered moose only.
2. A person who obtains an antlerless moose tag or a replacement tag for an antlerless moose is not eligible to apply in his or her lifetime for another tag to hunt antlerless moose only.
