Chapter 490 - Off-Highway Vehicles

Section 490.320 - Issuance of certificate of title to buyer, secured party or assignee

1. Upon receipt of all documents required pursuant to this chapter and chapter 490 of NRS for a certificate of title for an off-highway vehicle and the payment of any fees required pursuant to NAC 490.360, the Department will issue a certificate of title for the off-highway vehicle.

2. If no security interest is created or exists in connection with the sale of an off-highway vehicle, the Department will issue the certificate of title to the buyer.

3. If a security interest is created in connection with the sale of an off-highway vehicle, the Department will issue the certificate of title to the secured party or to the assignee of the secured party.
