Section 488.200 - Dealer in new boats: Evidence of franchise required

The Department will not issue a dealer's certificate of number to a dealer in new boats unless the dealer has first furnished the Department a copy of an instrument executed by or on behalf of the manufacturer certifying that he or she is a franchised dealer for the kinds of boats to be sold.
