Section 483.7906 - Courses in automobile driver education: Exceptions to requirement for proof of completion

1. If an applicant for a driver's license who is under the age of 18 years attends a school that:

Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, an applicant for a driver's license who is under the age of 18 years and who surrenders a valid driver's license that is issued by another state or jurisdiction is exempt from the requirement to submit proof of completion of a course in automobile driver education to obtain a driver's license from this State.
3. An applicant for a driver's license who is under the age of 18 years and who surrenders a valid instruction permit or a valid restricted driver's license that is issued by another state or jurisdiction must comply with the provisions of NRS 483.250 before the Department will issue a driver's license from this State.
