"Dynamic driving task" means all of the real-time operational and tactical functions required to operate an alternative electronic transportation system vehicle in traffic on a highway. The term does not include functions relating to planning for the use of the vehicle, including, without limitation, the scheduling of a trip or the selection of a destination or waypoint.
