Chapter 467 - Unarmed Combat

Section 467.045 - Application by amateur for license as professional unarmed combatant: Requirements; examinations and testing; proof of ability to compete

A person who engages in unarmed combat as an amateur may apply to become a professional unarmed combatant in Nevada by serving notice of his or her intention in writing at the office of the Commission. In addition to any other information required to be furnished to the Commission pursuant to this chapter or chapter 467 of NRS to apply to become a professional unarmed combatant in Nevada, the person must furnish the Commission with:

1. Proof of the person's age;

2. The person's record as an amateur in contests or exhibitions or proof of his or her ability to compete; and

3. If the person has not reached 18 years of age, a signed and notarized statement from the person's parent or legal guardian authorizing the person to engage in unarmed combat as a professional unarmed combatant.
