Section 459.95433 - Hot work permits

The owner or operator of a facility with a process that is subject to C.A.P.P. shall:
1. Issue a hot work permit for hot work conducted on or near a process;
2. Document in the permit:
(a) That the fire
prevention and protection requirements in
29 C.F.R. §
1910.252(a) are implemented
before beginning hot work;
(b) The
dates which are authorized for hot work; and
(c) The object on which hot work is to be
performed; and
3. Keep the permit on file until completion of the hot work.
