Section 459.0292 - "Derived air concentration-hour" defined

"Derived air concentration-hour" means the product of the concentration of a radionuclide in air and the time of exposure to that radionuclide, in hours. Two thousand derived air concentration-hours are equal to one annual limit on intake or a committed effective dose equivalent of 5 rems.
