Section 459.0285 - "Depleted uranium" defined

"Depleted uranium" means source material consisting of uranium in which the isotope uranium-235 is less than 0.711 weight percent of the total uranium present. The term does not include special nuclear material as defined 10 C.F.R. § 40.4.
