Section 445B.804 - "Range extended battery electric vehicle" defined

"Range extended battery electric vehicle" means a vehicle that:
1. Is powered predominantly by a zero emission energy storage device that is able to drive for more than 75 all-electric miles;
2. Is equipped with a backup auxiliary power unit which does not operate until the energy storage device is fully depleted; and
3. Meets the requirements set forth in section 1962.2(d)(5)(G) of Title 13 of the California Code of Regulations, which is adopted by reference pursuant to NAC 445B.816.
