Section 445B.799 - "Medium-duty vehicle" defined

"Medium-duty vehicle" means any heavy-duty low-emission, ultra-low-emission, super-ultra-low-emission or zero-emission vehicle that:

1. Is certified to the standards in section 1961(a)(1), 1961.2, 1962 or 1962.1 of Title 13 of the California Code of Regulations, as applicable, which are adopted by reference pursuant to NAC 445B.816; and

2. Has a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of at least 8,501 pounds but not more than 14,000 pounds.
