A seller of a used motor vehicle that is required pursuant to subsection 2 of NRS 445B.800 to provide to the buyer of the used motor vehicle evidence of compliance shall provide evidence of compliance that does not expire before the expiration date of the temporary placard issued for the used motor vehicle pursuant to NRS 482.424.
