Section 445A.254 - Standards for pretreatment; adoption by reference; inspection

1. Any person who discharges a pollutant into any waters of this State or into a publicly owned treatment works shall comply with the appropriate standards for pretreatment and the limitations and prohibitions applicable to the type of pollutant discharged which are contained in 40 C.F.R. §§ 401.10 to 469.26, inclusive.
2. The Commission adopts by reference 40 C.F.R. §§ 401.10 to 469.26, inclusive, as they existed on December 3, 1984. 3. Any person who discharges a pollutant into a publicly owned treatment works shall allow the Director to enter the person's premises in which an effluent source is located, or to sample any discharge.
