Section 445A.893 - General permits: Regulation of category of wells

A general permit may be written to regulate, within the area described in the permit, a category of injection wells if all of the wells:
1. Involve the same or substantially similar types of injection;
2. Inject the same types of fluids;
3. Require the same limitations for the permit and operating conditions;
4. Require the same or similar monitoring; and
5. In the opinion of the Director, are more appropriately controlled under a general permit than under individual permits.
