Section 445A.870 - Information required in application for Class III well that necessitates exemption for aquifer

For Class III wells, an applicant for a permit which necessitates an exemption for the aquifer must furnish the information necessary to demonstrate that the aquifer is expected to produce a mineral or hydrocarbon. The Director shall consider information in the plan for mining for the proposed project, such as a map and general description of the zone for mining, general information on the mineralogy and geochemistry of the zone for mining, an analysis of the amenability of the zone for mining to the proposed method of mining and a schedule for the planned development of the zone for mining.
