Section 445A.4876 - Variances: Application; payment of costs

1. A person seeking a variance from the provisions of NAC 445A.450 to 445A.492, inclusive, must:
(a) Submit an application for the
variance to the Secretary of the Commission; and
(b) Submit a payment of $150 to cover the
costs of:
(1) Publication of notice of the
application and notice of the date of the public hearing;
(2) A review and analysis of the application
conducted by a member of the staff; and
(3) Printing and clerical services required
to prepare the requested variance for submission to the Commission.
2. The Commission may waive the requirement that the applicant pay the costs set forth in subsection 1 upon a showing of extreme economic hardship.
