Section 445A.6731 - Water hauling: Equipment of vehicles for disinfection and testing

If the Division or the appropriate district board of health approves the use of water hauling, a vehicle used for that purpose must have available:
1. A chorine solution with a concentration of not less than 50 mg/l nor more than 100 mg/l for the disinfection of any hose, fitting or cap that becomes contaminated during the transfer of water.
2. Strips or other devices for testing the concentration of chlorine which are:
(a) Approved by the Division or the
appropriate district board of health; and
(b) Sufficient for determining the chlorine
residual in the hauled water and in the solution required by subsection
1.
