Section 445A.567 - Washing and sanitizing operations

The operator shall wash and sanitize the containers in an enclosed room. The washing and sanitizing operation must be positioned within the room so as to minimize any possible contamination of the containers after they have been sanitized and before they enter the bottling room. Open containers which have been sanitized must be protected from contamination.
